The Need
At Uzeem, we are constantly searching for captivating topics and events to create zeems for our visitors to explore. However, we acknowledge that we cannot, and should not, accomplish this alone as history belongs to all of us. Therefore, as we open the doors, we welcome unbiased curators who value honesty and impartiality, and possess an interest in diverse subjects such as history, fashion, pop culture, politics, sports, and more. This is just the start of our company's journey, and we are thrilled to welcome enthusiastic individuals to be a part of it.
2019
The Birth
Life had gotten in the way and other projects had detoured us from pursuing our purpose. However, in 2019, the outbreak of the pandemic gave us an opportunity to reflect on and reassess the political landscape, as well as the ongoing spread of misinformation and disinformation. We realized that we could not afford to remain passive, so we revisited the database that we had started building back in 2016 and began working towards making our dream a reality. The itch was back!

The Choice
It was difficult to decide what to showcase first, but prioritizing upcoming events and creating a dedicated zeem for the 'US Elections,' made sense. Even though voting day was still far away, we believed that providing context as early as possible was an essential part of our responsibility and the reason why we started this platform in the first place. As we started to create it, we made 'The Oscars', 'Elton John', 'Barbie', 'Met Gala', 'Super Bowls', and 'AI' available.
2016
The Push
Our story began during the 2016 US Presidential Elections. As we watched the race for the top leadership position in the world unfold, we realized how important it is for us to contribute towards bringing people back to a place of objectivity, trust, and context. We see the notion of an 'alternative reality' as an insult to people's intelligence. The results from the polls solidified our mission, and our vision became clearer.

2023
The Growth
It took over two years to develop the beta version and finalize the first zeems before launching it to the public. Uzeem was officially established in December 2023. The launch of a company brought about a mix of excitement and pressure. We knew we would be utterly vulnerable once we ignited the fire. It was scary, but we deemed it necessary enough to take the risk.
Uzeem is an online platform that functions as a digital exhibition, showcasing user-generated personal content and public-domain items related to historical events and pop culture from all over the world in chronological order. It aims to discover, curate, display, and make it simple to learn about the stories behind our favorite topics, individuals, and passions and to revisit them whenever we need to acquire context and verify information.

Uzeem showcases a much more visually engaging, multimedia enriched and interactive experience than other platforms. Our mission is to preserve history by sharing the stories behind all the things that make up our cultural fabric. The goal is to become a reliable source of factual information for collectors, fans, historians, and anyone interested in discovering more about the events and people that amaze, entertain, and unite us, from beginings to most current.

Life used to be simpler, and as a society, we have made significant and unapologetic advancements in simplifying it further. However, in the process, we have also complicated it in a different way. We seem to have lost sight of the tangible, achievable, and real facts that used to guide our human interactions in the past. Now, we constantly second-guess ourselves and struggle to find clarity amidst the chaos that affects our lives, resulting in a loss of focus on what is truly important.
