The Giants led 20-19 in the fourth quarter, but the Bills drove down the field and had a chance to win with a field goal in the final seconds. However, kicker Scott Norwood missed a 47-yard field goal attempt right, and the Giants held on to win their second Super Bowl title. The victory was memorable for fans, who had not seen their team win a championship in over 25 years.

Marketed as the first 'All-Kids' Super Bowl, the halftime presentation involved elaborate character props, hundreds of children, costumed characters, President George H.W. Bush's message, and a New Kids on the Block performance.
