The game concluded with a final score of 20-16 for the 49ers. The title of MVP was awarded to San Francisco wide receiver Jerry Rice. Billy Joel delivered the rendition of the National Anthem. The Half-Time Show featured ‘Be Bop Bamboozled’, a group of Florida-area dancers and performers. NBC broadcasted the XXIII Super Bowl to more than 81 thousand viewers. The cost for a 30-second spot reached $675,000 with commercials from Budweiser, American Express, Masterlock, and Coke.
