The Super Bowl II was played on January 14, 1968, at the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida. The Green Bay Packers defeated the Oakland Raiders with a final score of 33 -14. Green Bay consistently outperformed Oakland for most of the game, with the Raiders managing only two touchdowns through passes from their quarterback Daryle Lamonica. The Packers quarterback Bart Starr was named MVP for the second consecutive year for his performance, completing 13 of 24 passes for 202 yards and one touchdown. The Grambling College Band performed the National Anthem and also featured in the halftime show. CBS broadcast the game to an estimated 39.12 million viewers.
