Elton John, then Reginald Kenneth Dwight, studied at Pinner Grammar School in England from 1954 to 1962. He was a school orchestra member and started playing the piano at a young age. At 17, he left school to pursue his music career but has remained in contact with some of his Pinner classmates, whom he reunited with in 2015 when he attended a class reunion.
