Elton John first stepped at Dodger Stadium in 1975 to perform a concert to over 100,000 people, as part of his 'Yellow Brick Road' album tour. It was the first time a solo artist had ever been on the stage at that venue and the tickets were sold out within minutes. It would become the largest rock concert of its time and the first act performed at the ballpark since The Beatles in 1966. He wore a Bob Mackie-designed Dodger's uniform with 'Elton #1' emblazoned on the back. John returned to Dodger Stadium on November 17, 20, and 21, 2022, for three final shows of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.
