Moschino Barbie And Ken

In 2015, the fashion brand Moschino created a special edition Ken and Barbie doll set featuring outfits worn by model Stella Maxwell at the MTV Video Music Awards. The Ken doll was designed to look like Moschino's Creative Director, Jeremy Scott, complete with his signature blonde buzz-cut hairstyle and a miniature version of the striped tuxedo he wore to the awards show. The dolls were available for $200, and matching beach towels were sold for $135 each. This was not the first time Moschino collaborated with Mattel, having previously created both African American and Caucasian versions of the Moschino Barbie. Jeremy Scott is widely credited with revitalizing the Moschino brand during his tenure as Creative Director, which ended in March of 2023 when he announced his departure.
