In 2008, American ice cream company Ben & Jerry's released a time-limited batch of the 'Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road' ice cream, available only from July 18 to July 25, 2008, exclusively at the company's Vermont shops. This novelty flavor, made of chocolate ice cream, peanut butter cookie dough, butter brickle, and white chocolate chunks, was created to celebrate Elton John's 1970s album and song, 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.' The proceeds from its sale went to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Ben & Jerry's has a range of other celebrity-inspired ice creams that support various charitable causes, such as Stephen Colbert's 'Americone Dream,' Jimmy Fallon's 'The Tonight Dough,' Jerry Garcia's 'Cherry Garcia,' Phish's 'Phish Food,' Willie Nelson's 'Country Peach Cobbler,' Bob Marley's 'One Love,' and John Lennon's 'Imagine Whirled Peace.'
