In 1985, the iconic Day-to-Night Barbie emerged, symbolizing the evolving role of women. As the leading figure in the 'We Girls Can Do Anything, Right Barbie?' campaign, she embodied the spirit of female empowerment. The 'Day-to-Night' Barbie's design featured a transformative soft pink power suit seamlessly morphing into an elegant shirred skirt evening ensemble. Given that there has been demand for vintage reproductions over the last few years 2017, Barbie Signature Principal Designer Bill Greening recreated the doll using history and the pop culture touch points of the women’s workplace revolution, during which Day-to-Night Barbie originally debuted.
